Based in Porto, Portugal, DSType is one of those one-person font foundries that have more or less grown up together with MyFonts. Designer Dino dos Santos began designing custom typefaces for magazines and corporations in 1994; he felt confident to start up his own collection of retail fonts after his first experiments with distributing through MyFonts had proved successful. Dino dos Santos is a hard working designer, and DSType is one of the fastest growing libraries around. It includes striking experiments, charming display type and, most notably, an amazing collection of well-wrought, extensive text families.
